Chasing Answers To Life's Questions
Our Winter bible study for 2012 is from the book of Ecclesiastes and from it will be raised the most challenging questions that we face in life in a very realistic way. From the pages of Ecclesiastes, we will be reminded what life is really like when we choose the pattern of this world rather than what God has to give. This study will help us develop an every day theology, showing us how to shape a Christian world view in light of the challenges of secularism. It will help us engage our culture in an effective way, and enable us to see afresh our need for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Here is the Question:
"Can the meaning of life come from outside of a God centered universe?"
Ecclesiastes may be the most contemporary book in the Bible, speaking to the very people who are most likely to build their lives on success, wealth, power and intellectual reputation. The book points out the futility of such a way of life, urging instead that readers face their need for God.
I pray you will calendar this into your busy schedule and allow God to speak to and grow you in this time period.
We will try to complete the study in 7 sessions.
If you want a book, you need to see Wylene in the office. The books are around $9 each. One book per couple is sufficient.
The study will start on February 15th, and hopefully conclude on March 28th.

Baby Bottle Boomerang
Project "Baby Bottle Boomerang" begins on Sanctity of Human Life Day (January 22nd) and ends on Sunday, February 12th. We will be using plastic baby bottles to collect spare change in. All money collected will then go to the Pregnancy Resource Center in Carrollton. Click on the link to the right.
